The things to know

Safeguarding

All coaches are DBS-checked and safeguarding trained. Concerns go to our Welfare Officer, Priya Nandra.

Cancellations

Weather calls are made by 15:00 on the day and posted to the portal announcements feed and by SMS.

Consent forms

Medical, photography and away-travel consent must be signed in the portal before match selection.

Absence & injury

Report absences at least 3 hours before a session so squads can be balanced. Injuries need a written return-to-play note.

Full policy documents are available to download and sign in the portal documents area.

Parent FAQs

Common questions

How often is my child's development plan updated?

Coaches write a full review at the end of each block (three times a year) and add interim notes after tournaments. Updates appear in the portal the same day.

What do the skill ratings mean?

Each player is scored 1-10 across the four corners — technical, tactical, physical and social. Ratings track direction of travel, not comparison against other players.

Can both parents have access?

Yes. One account holds the family's players; you can share the login or ask the office to add a second parent account.

How is squad selection decided?

Selection is based on the current development block's focus areas, attendance and completed consent forms — never on subscription tier.

Still need a hand?

Message the academy office and we'll come back to you within one working day.
